In His Light
When I first began this journey I had no idea what I was doing or where it would lead. To this day the destination is elusive but the path seems to be narrowing. One of the most valuable lessons has been on prayer. When we seek God, He shows up. When we ask God, He answers and when we knock on the door, God is very happy to greet us and let us in. It’s a simple concept but difficult to remember. It’s simple to remember but a difficult concept. You see what I just did right there? Paul said something to the effect of Romans NKJV 15 For what I am doing, I do not understand. For what I will to do, that I do not practice; but what I hate, that I do. 16 If, then, I do what I will not to do, I agree with the law that it is good. 17 But now, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me. 18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh) nothing good dwells; for to will is present with me, but how to perform what is good I do not find. 19 For the good that I will to do, I do not do; but the evil I will not to do, that I practice. 20 Now if I do what I will not to do, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells in me.
Learning about the power of prayer, and more importantly how to pray, we can change lives in ways we could never imagined. The deeper one dives into the power of prayer and following the construct laid out in Matthew 6 9:13 we can and will experience the Supernatural. God will absolutely come to life. This is not a “jeanie in a bottle” but our Father, the Savior of the World that will answer your prayers and keep you protected in His light.
